Coloring is a hobby for me, and I balance it with my full-time job. While many people have asked why I don't color entire mangas or chapters, the reason is that it takes a significant amount of time and effort. A single page can take two or three days to finish, and more intricate pages would take even longer.

Despite the time constraints, I remain dedicated to this craft because I love helping others discover these amazing stories. This wouldn't be possible without the support of my subscribers. Thank you!

The first coloring I did was almost five years ago; it was a Vagabond page, still on my Instagram. Life got in the way and I stopped.

I'm into coloring in the hopes of helping others discover the mangas I love

But around June 2023, I jumped back in when I mixed in Van Gogh's paintings with panels from Vagabond, Berserk, and Vinland Saga. Somehow, my Instagram stuff reached 10 million people in just three months. Currently I'm only doing mangas I've read and liked, but once I'm done with those - I will do other mangas for sure.

My coloring process starts with selecting and upscaling a manga panel to 4K. I use software like Adobe Photoshop or Procreate to paint under the original line work, adding depth and realism. To enhance details, I often integrate grain textures and colors sampled from real images. The final step involves fine-tuning the colors using Adobe Lightroom.
